RULES OF THE GAME
Firstly, let me welcome you to my blog. I assure you that there are no hidden passwords or codes in here that you need to worry about. This is just to get some ground rules established so we can enjoy this experience together!
I shall put this at the top of the list due to its importance. This blog will have DARK CONTENT due to the nature of the show and many of the crossover verses I would be willing to do. Please do keep this in mind and put your own well-being first. Manipulation, gore, death, gaslighting, etc. will be present and prevalent along with others. I do not condone these behaviors obviously, but nor will I tone down the themes of the show or characters.
On a much lighter note, this blog is very open to crossovers, aus, original characters, etc. I personally am a big fan of straight up crossovers so don't be afraid to ask! Characters can easily come to the Borderlands or I can send mine to yours somehow!
I am a big fan of memes (especially as initial ice breakers) and genuinely welcome you to send as many as you want. The more you send, the more variety I have to pick from if I'm not feeling a particular way. Furthermore, we don't have to be mutuals for you to send in a meme! Anyone and everyone is welcome.
I am generally a quick responder, but I am also working full-time so I may not always have the energy. it's never anything personal.
I do use icons; while my muses are real life fcs primarily, I'm more than happy to write with anime, video game, etc. characters. I do have the manga icons for these muses as well.
When it comes to following, don't be discouraged if I don't immediately follow back! Sometimes tumblr doesn't notify me of new followers so I may not have noticed. (And hence, I always promote sending an ic ask/meme so I for sure see as I don't regularly check followers.) I DO NOT tolerate drama, and it will be grounds for unfollowing if you’re someone that constantly is involved in & reblogging things about drama, callouts, etc.
I am open to shipping and both muses are multiship, ot3, etc. friendly. Your muse is also welcomed to have unrequinted feelings for mine and I do NOT see that as force shipping. If you are 18+ i am fine with writing sexual scenes if you wish to.
When it comes to my portrayals, I write a blend of how they are presented in the live action and manga. This is especially true of Chishiya's character. I do lean a bit more towards the live action, but inner thoughts are more we of the manga presenting.

I SUPPOSE THIS EMPTINESS HAS BEEN HERE FOR A LONG TIME.The past doesn't matter in the Borderlands. But that's a rather uninteresting way to dismiss his own past, isn't it? Chishiya was born into a family created not out of love, but out of mutual benefit for prestige in the hospital his parents worked at. It was not a home full of love. It should have bothered Chishiya. It didn't. How could it? From the beginning, Chishiya has always felt an emptiness inside of him. Life didn't matter to him. Instead, he was simply wasting his time away.So he decided to see if that would change. Ever blessed in intelligence, school was a breeze and he was quickly on his way to becoming a doctor, specifically to become a pediatric cardiovascular physician. Perhaps this way he could find value in life by saving it. Chishiya, predictably, was extremely successful just like his parents. Instead, he just saw how ugly the world was and was still left without what he'd hoped to achieve. He didn't find the value of life. Patients lived or died, that's just how it was. Day in, day out.And then he found himself suddenly in the Borderlands one day. A land where life and death were ever present, where you had to play to survive. But even here Chishiya still has not found his answer. It's all just games to him, much to the irritation of certain people. Still, a game is a game, and Chishiya intends to win by any means necessary.

| CRIME AU | Everyone needs a doctor, sooner or later. And in the criminal underground, people are willing to pay a lot more money for basic services and medicine. Add interesting stories and dangerous dynamics into the situation and, well, one cheshire cat is bound to appear. Chishiya graduated top of his class in medical school, succeeding in his residence and work - BUT FAOUND HE HAD NO VALUE IN LIFE. Eventually, the allure of aiding more dangerous people drew him in. |

WELCOME NEWCOMERS, MAY THE GAMES BEGIN!The Borderlands take place in the 23 wards of Tokyo. All people have mysteriously disappeared, except for the players who are participating whether they know it or not. Electronics relying on chips such as new cars, phones, televisions, etc. do not work. Only battery power works for many people. Fresh fruits and vegetables spoil quickly and everything seems untouched for at least a year if not longer. Everything is quite and still.But at night, this changes. Venues around the wards will light up, power mysteriously given to these venues for the games. Players arrive at these venues, following instructions on screns around the city or the lights that direct to the venue. Once you enter a venue, you cannot leave or you immediately die. Once registration closes, a game will begin. The games follow one of the card suits.Spades = Physical
Diamonds = Intellectual / Logic
Clubs = Teamwork
Hearts = PsychologicalThe number on the card relates to how difficult the game will be. A 3 is easier than a 10 for example.If you die or fail the game, its GAME OVER and you are dead. If you survive, you are granted the playing card as well a visa that correlates to the number on the card. For example 3 of clubs grants you 3 days to live. Oh, did we not mention this? You have a limited number of days to live, or you die.
